Well, we have no snow so far this year and it has only been cold enough one day to wear a warm scarf. But I always want to be prepared so last year I started this scarf with cotton boucle and odd scraps of bright colors. It was put away unfinshed when it warmed up and I just rediscovered it in a basket while packng and moving the studio. It’s finished and I can guarantee worn with my royal blue quilted coat that I will NOT get lost in the snow.

Wow, this is beautiful. Wish I had learned crochet past the baby blanket edges.
Crochet is still on my long list of “to dos.” Although I did learn as a child, I do not remember how. I love the colors!
I learned only to make a simple chain as a child. As an adult I taught myself from books. I have beed told I crochet left handed, upside down or backwards! What ever gets the job done, right?
Martha, if you can crochet edgings, you can do this simple crochet. It isn’t anything fancy, the premium yarns are what makes it pretty.
Thank you Ger! Your colors!
