Who knew that the simple act of ironing this fabric would make such a difference. Each piece was better than the last. I am showing a few photos of some of my favorites. I really like the way the colors crack and separate. As a side note, the middle 2 pieces were on a pale taupe fabric and the bottom one was a pale mauve. Like under painting a watercolor, the base color gives an overall glow to the fabric.

you did get some good results. My attempts were washed out. I hate all the mixing, I wondered how RIT came out, and if it dyed okay cold. Thanks for showing me!

Remember the reason Rit has been around so long is because it is easy to use.Now that they have liquid Rit you don’t even have to mix it. I used a combination of liquids and powdered on these. Don’t be afraid to try it!
Lovely shadings! It’s really amazing to see what happens when you are dyeing in snow, or ice as I have practised.
