This is soooo cool I can hardly believe it. THIS IS MY 200TH BLOG POST!  That’s what my stats say at least. I haven’t been counting!

  1. I've used ribbon, lace, embroidery, buttons, beads, and even charms– you never know what you might find on one of my quilts. I have some very special handmade buttons that my daughter made for me that I am saving for a special project! πŸ™‚ thank you for the chance to win!

  2. I have tried a little bit of everything. Sometime I hope to make a small quilt (wallhanging) which is heavily embellished with beads and threads.

  3. I am really new to quilting, so I have yet to add a lot of embellishment on my quilts. ( as of yet). I am will to try something new! Thanks for the giveaway!

  4. I embellish with whatever is appropriate for my current project. My latest project has applique, beadwork and braided 'rope'.

  5. what a sweet giveaway! I embellish with beads, sometimes with hotfix crystals, and with stringy stuff (yarn, piping, ribbon etc.)

  6. I do a lot with machine embroidery, plus I belong to a group that makes Counted Cross Stitch squares that I turn into quilts to go to nursing homes and Ronald McDonald House.

  7. I like to bead or button on my wall hangings, pillows especially, and table runners. I just love to look at beads and buttons:) Aren't they a decor item?

  10. I haven't started quilting yet though I am hoping when the snow starts falling I will start my first quilt! I do love buttons for all kinds of embellishing on my craft projects though!

  11. So far my embellishment on quilts is hand embroidery. However, my mother and I want to make a crazy quilt so buttons and beads would be so kool to use. Thanks for the lovely giveaway.

  12. I often use beads on my smaller quilts. Right now I have a couple pieces tha t I made in a class with felted wool roving and machine quilting. The beading adds that extra dimension.

  13. I haven't embellished much on quilts but I do like to add beads or hand embroidery to smaller projects. I want to try more ideas with embellishment so I'll be reading your blog more I can see.

  14. the quilts I have made are rather boring. I have used charms, buttons, and crystals. I hope to get a little more adventurous and try more embellishing as I grow as a quilter.

  15. I enjoyed your blog. I don't embellish all of my quilts but I have used beads, buttons, ribbons and i even used some twine once it was cute on a country Christmas tree wall hanging.

  17. I embellish my wall hangings with beads, feathers, buttons, whatever looks interesting. Right now I am working on a wholecloth and considering painting and embellishments for after I finish the quilting! This is so cool, thank you!!

  18. I don't usually embellish with more than hand embroidery, but only because I always just want to get the project done and not have to shop around for the "perfect" embellishment. I'm planning on doing a way over-embellished crazy quilt at one point or another. Thanks for the giveaway!

  21. I like to cut shapes out of felt and whip stitch them on by hand for that puffy cuddly look. I would love some beads and buttons to experiment with, thanks for the chance.

  22. I am a new quilter and am still working on my first project a wall hanging. I have used beads and ribbon to embellish canvas totes, tee shirts and sweatshirts in the past so I am sure with my new quilting projects there well be some embellishing to be done.llmgabbard60 at Gmail dot com

  24. Most of my quilts are for small children so that I do not use beads or buttons, but I use a lot of embroidary strings, ribbons and ricracs instead πŸ™‚ Thanks for the great givaway!
