Here is the finished mannequin displaying some vintage jewelry. I have been working on some art jewelry since the smaller pieces are easier on my arthritic hands. My hope is to sell some of the pieces on Etsy.
I needed a model for photographing since I didn’t think my aged neck was a good background and for sure my DH’s neck wouldn’t work, lol. The bottom photos are the beginnings of a $3.75 plastic form. I soaked muslin strips in gesso and applied them randomly. When it was dry I applied numerous coats of paint to make my lady look antique. I think it was a great project that saved me big dollars.
