Shake Rattle and Roll

The as yet to be named newest Steampunk in the family was very misbehaved! They simply would not do what I wanted them to do. So Ron stepped in and in his best dad voice read them the riot act. Success! Here are some closeups showing their northern light, iceberg collar, equator belt buckle and ocean of fish. In addition, They are a rattler, another Steampunk rolls and the shake is on the worktable.

Dragonfly On My Workbench

Dragonfly is being born . She gets her name from the way dragonflies seem to be drawn to her. There are a couple of problems to overcome before she gets her color and finishes. She will have wheels and will roll along if I can work out how to attach them.

Chastity

Meet Chastity. My art assemblages, curiosities, mixed media pieces always tell a story. Sometimes they are obvious stories. This is a woman’s story. Each part of the work is integral to the narrative. Like many women today, she is in pieces stuffed into a box not of her making, being held together with tightly coiled springs. Her body is shielded with a tin plate and her yoni must have a key to enter. She safely keeps her key in a locket around her neck. At the bottom is the door to her desires, chained against unwanted advances. You may read more or less into this artwork. I would love to hear any of your comments.
