My book cover is done. It had a coat of matte vanish applied after takng the photo. I also repaired the leaves on the edge. A photo is a great way to discover things that your eye doesn’t always see. Now it is ready for all the wonderful art from the other artists in my book collaboration project. Love how easy it was to put the group together.
A few weeks ago I showed you some National Geographic hardcover books I was getting ready for making altered books. Today I finally had some time to start work on them. This is one I have covered the front with pussywillow and cotinus leaves and the back so far is painted. There are more altering plans for this one so I am excited to be working on it.
